The death of Mary Bartlett of McAdam, wife of the late Ron Bartlett,
occurred on Wednesday, January 9, 2002 at her residence. Born in Bedeque,
Prince Edward Island, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah
(Arsenault) Gaudet. Mrs. Bartlett worked along with her husband in the
family business. She loved fishing and playing games with her family
and friends. She also enjoyed card parties and Bingo, and as a past-time,
she quilted and sewed. Mrs. Bartlett is survived by her son, Derrick
MacKay (Denise) of Springfield and her daughter Shirley Smith (Harold)
of Grande Cache, Alberta; grandchildren David Smith (Debbie); Christopher
Smith (Angie), Michael MacKay, Ryan MacKay, and Sarah MacKay; three great
grandchildren Kristi, Jeffrey, and Michael; sisters Zelda Gallant (Clarence)
of PEI and Theresa Vatafu (Stan) of Toronto; a brother, Lorne Gaudet
(Verna) of PEI; and extended family of step-children in Newfoundland
and Ontario; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bartlett was
predeceased by her first husband, Bruce MacKay; brothers, Fred, Joseph,
Edward, Gus, and John; and sisters Dorelda, Margaret and Elizabeth. Visiation
will take place at her residence, 63 First Avenue, McAdam, on Saturday
and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on
Monday at 2:00 p.m. from the Voice of Pentecost church, McAdam. Pastor
Robert Foster will officiate, assisted by Rev. George Clark. The pallbearers
will be Christopher Smith, Michael MacKay, Ryan MacKay, Clarence (Boo)
Gallant, Terry Cleghorn, and Danny Porelle. Interment will take place
at a later date in the Rockland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances
to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated

Cynthia D. Bell of McAdam passed away August 1, 2007 at the Dr. Everett
Chalmers Hospital as a result of injuries received in a car accident
at Harvey Station. Cynthia was born at Fredericton in 1977, a daughter
of Gail M. (Russell) Russell and the late John Blois Sr. From her youth
she lived her life in the Pentecostal faith and recently, together with
her husband, pastored the Apostolic Mission Church in Pennfield. She
is now with her Savior.
Cynthia is survived by her husband,
Gary J. Bell; a step-daughter, Sara Bell, Toronto, ON; a step-granddaughter,
Shaelynn; her mother and step-father, Gail and Danny Russell, Hanwell;
a brother, John Blois Jr., Moncton; a nephew, Garret Blois and a niece
Jenna Blois; her paternal grandmother, Edith Blois, York Manor; several
aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cynthia was predeceased by her father, her maternal grandparents, Alice and Myles
Russell and her paternal grandfather, George Blois.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station
on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral
home chapel on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Warren Brothers officiating.
Interment will follow at Rockland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Warren Brothers Jr., David Bell, Terry Bell, Randy Bell,

age of 75. Born in Nova Scotia, he was a woodsworker until his retirement.
He is survived by 2 children Christine Belliveau of Fredericton and
Christopher (Wendy) of McAdam, NB; 1 sister Christina Doucette of Montreal;
2 grandchildren Tina and Jeremy; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased
by his wife Nelsie Saulnier; a daughter Brenda Porelle; 1 brother and

Mr. Dennis Gordon Bennett, husband of Sharon Bennett,
of the Shore Road, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional
Hospital, on Thursday, August 19, 2004, at the age of 67. Born
in McAdam, he was the son of the late James and Edith (Scott) Bennett.
He was a teacher by profession and taught at schools in the Miramichi,
Plaster Rock, McAdam and St. Stephen areas. He was a member of St.
Andrews United Church, Miramichi and a member of the Board of Stewarts
of that church. He was a member of the Miramichi Sportsman Club.
He is survived by his wife, the former Sharon Golding; three sons,
Kyle (Ann) of Quispamsis, Jason (Andrea) of Fredericton, and Jonathan
(Karen) of Summerside, P.E.I.; one sister, Doreen Bennett of Fredericton;
one brother, Norman Bennett (Olga) of Lechine, P.Q.; five grandchildren,
Matthew, Josh, Julia, Jillian and Gavin; as well as several nieces & nephews. Visiting will be at Adams
Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Sunday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi,
on Monday, August 23, 2004, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire.

Serenely, surrounded by her loving family and
friends, she went to her new home on April 23, 2007. Born January
2, 1921 she was the wife of the late David Biggar and daughter of
the late Robin and Mildred (McElroy) Taylor. She was a member of
the Voice of Pentecost Church, McAdam, NB and was known for her hospitality
and had a wonderful sense of giving to others. She will be greatly
missed by her sister Bessie Pelkey (Paul) of Hamilton, Ont.; brother
George Taylor (Margaret) of Fredericton and Maxine O'Donnell (Lorey)
of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews; two special friends Phillip
and Linda Gaines of McAdam, NB, who fondly took care of her every
need. To them the family says a heartfelt thank you. Predeceased
by her parents, husband, and sister Della Gardner (John). Resting
at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road with visitation Wednesday

(Blair) Phelps. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Angel Phelps (Georgia),
his mother, Viola (of Toronto), his brothers Miles (Rosemary), Wendell
( Mary Lou ), and his sisters, Gail Blair (Rick McGaw), Karen, Daphne;
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous close friends.
Royden's (Hack) ashes will be buried in the Rockland Cemetery, McAdam
in the spring, after a memorial service to be held in McAdam on May 30,
2008.

Lodge F. & A.M. No. 36, since 1959. Boonie loved hunting
and fishing along with enjoying his camp, first at Magaguadavic
Lake, then at Palfrey Lake, being a licenced N.B. guide since 1934.

Scotland, Dr. and Mrs. Gavin & Judith Brown, Auckland, New Zealand
and Miss Janet Brown, McAdam; four grandchildren, Iain Rae Edward,
Anthony James Valentine, Kate Elizabeth and Heather Joy Margaret;
four sisters, Betty, Margaret, Janet and Ena; several nieces and
nephews.
Isabelle was predeceased by a brother, Robert Johnston.
Resting at St. Paul's United Church, McAdam with visiting hours
Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the church
on Friday, January 28, 2005 at 2 p.m. Rev. Ellen Beairsto officiating.
Interment will be later at Rockland Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Isabelle the
family has suggested a charity of the donor's choice.

BUCHANAN-at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB, March 19,
2008, Belinda June (Blair) Buchanan, wife of Donald L. Buchanan, of McAdam,
NB. Daughter of Ida (Conley) Blair and the late D. Calvin Blair.
Survived by her husband, 1 son, Don (Rene), St. Louis, grandson, Donnie, granddaughter,
Kayla, her mother, brothers, Donald Blair (Irene) McAdam, Dale Blair (Jill),
McAdam, sister, Valerie Smith (Rodie), Nfld., several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by infant child, Dean Edward Buchanan.
Resting at the Voice of Pentecost Church, McAdam, NB from where funeral service
will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 2 PM.
Interment at Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB, in the spring.
Visiting hours will be held at the Voice of Pentecost Church on Friday, March
21, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM
In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Kidney Foundation or charity of ones
choice would be appreciated by the family.
