Funeral Mass took take place at St. Clement’s Church, McAdam,
NB on Monday August 25, 2003 at 4 PM, followed by interment at Rockland
Cemetery.

January 12, 2004, Gwennyth May Ellison, widow of Richard Ronald
Ellison, formerly of McAdam, NB. Survived by two daughters, Audrey
Dewitt (Fred), Saint John, NB, Nancy Wilcox (Richard), Pennfield,
NB, three sons, Ronald (Helen), Montreal, Quebec, Paul, Calgary,
Alberta, Ralph (Donna) Lower Sackville, NS, one grandson, four granddaughters,
one great granddaughter, one sister, Marjorie Corbett, Sussex, NB,
several nieces and nephews. Resting at St. George's Anglican Church,
McAdam, NB, from where funeral service will be held on Friday January
16, 2004 at 2 PM with Rev. Wendy Amos-Binks officiating. Interment
at Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB. Visiting hours will be held at
St. George's Anglican Church on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 PM
and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances
to the NB Lung Association, St. George's Anglican Church or charity

Hazel Mayme Enman

|
Hazel M. Enman (Collier) of McAdam passed away peacefully at her home
on March 14, 2008 with family members by her side. Born on Collier Mountain,
Albert County, NB on March 8, 1920, she was the daughter of the late
Fletcher and Sarah (Allen) Collier and the wife of her loving late husband,
Burns Enman who passed away in 1991. Her life was devoted to hard work
and caring for her family. She was a marvelous cook and enjoyed shopping,
her church family and travelling the back roads of the area. In later
life she delighted in her collection of stuffed animals, gifts from family
and friends.
Hazel is survived by her loving family: sons, Grant of Barrie, ON, Roger (Flossie)
of Fredericton, NB and Bernie (Carolyn) of Ottawa, ON; daughters, Jean Sherman
(Guy), Toronto, ON and Sheila Kelly (Dave), Dartmouth, NS; eleven grandchildren;
thirteen great grandchildren; a sister, Helen Geldart of Salisbury, NB and
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brother, Hoyt
Collier, a granddaughter, Jennifer Sherman and a great granddaughter, Alyssa
Enman.
Visiting hours will be held at the Rockland Drive United Baptist Church, McAdam
on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the
church on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Scott Kohler officiating.
Interment will be later at Rockland Cemetery.

suggested the Rockland Drive United Baptist Church or a charity of the
donor’s

1998, Ronald Irvin Enman, 52, of McAdam, N.B. Son of the
late George W. and Florence L. (Shaw) Enman.
Survivied by his wife, Vickie (Rideout); one daughter, Veronica and one
step-son, Wesley, all of Perth-Andover; one sister, Ruby and her husband,
Harold Dickenso of McAdam; two brothers, Winston Enman and his wife,
Lillian , of McAdam, Lawrence Enman, of Campobello, N.B.; several nieces
and nephews.
Predeceased by two brothers, Ronald Enman and Roy Enman; four sisters,
Jean Cleghorn, Alveretta Nason, Laura Enman and Shirley Enman.
Resting at The Voice of Pentecost Church, Harvey Rd., McAdam, N.B. from
where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998 at 2 p.m.
with Rev. Terry Kennedy officiating, assisted by Rev. Robert Foster.

Dow Jesse Estabrooks

Dow J. Estabrooks of McAdam passed away May 13, 2003 at
his home. Born in Hartland on December 18, 1920, he was a son of the
late Frank and Lulu (Foster) Estabrooks. Dow is survived by a daughter,
Judy Robertson (Winston), McAdam; a son, Larry Estabrooks (Micheline),
Hamilton, Ontario; a sister, Villa Brown, Saint John; three grandchildren,
Keith Robertson, Paul Robertson and Lisa (Estabrooks) Cave; six great
grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his
wife, Pauline Mabel (Johnston) Estabrooks in 1993, a brother Fred Estabrooks
and two sisters, Glenna and Mayme Foster. Resting at the Rockland Drive
United Baptist Church, McAdam with visiting hours Wednesday from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the church on
Thursday, May 15, 2003 at 2 p.m. Pastor Mark Hovey officiating. Interment
will be in Rockland Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation

It is with saddened
hearts we announce the death of Mary Estabrooks on October 20, 2006
at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Fredericton, NB. She was born
in 1923, the eldest daughter of the late Helen (Worrell) and Clarence
Stannix of McAdam, NB. Mary is survived by two daughters, Sally Carvell
and Jane Moffitt (Jerry) of McAdam; two granddaughters, Sarah of
Saint John and Amy of Fredericton. One sister, Marjorie Nason of
McAdam; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mary
was predeceased by two husbands, Curtis Black and Pete Estabrooks;
sister, Elva Knight; and son-in-law, George Carvell. Resting at St.
Paul's United Church McAdam, NB. With visitation on Wednesday, October
25, 2006, 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held Thursday,
October 26, 2006 at 2 PM with Rev. Ellen Beairisto officiating. Interment
will take place in the Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB. Donations made

Arthur Grenville Estey

|
Arthur G. Estey of McAdam, NB passed away July
7, 2008 at Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, Car., Co.,
NB. Born in Eureka, California in 1924, he was the son of the late
George W. and Estelle M. (Grant) Estey. After graduating from McAdam
High, Arthur joined the Canadian Army and trained in western Canada
and Virginia, USA. He later joined the RCMP for a brief period. Arthur
married his high school sweetheart, Reta Anderson and settled in
McAdam, where he was employed as a clerk with the CPR until 1986.
He spent all of his summers at the Skiff Lake family cottage even
until just a few days before his death. In his retirement he enjoyed
family, jaunts in his car, reading and playing cards with friends.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and St. Paul’s United
Church where he served as an elder and treasurer.
Arthur is survived by a daughter, Mary Pawsey (Wayne), Woodstock; a son, George
Estey (Doone), Toronto, ON; grandchildren, Michael Pawsey (Nuala), Ghana, Africa,
April-Dawn Pawsey, Woodstock, Ryan Pawsey, Calgary, AB, Eric Estey, New York
City, NY, Morgan Estey, Alexander Estey and Madison Estey, all of Toronto, ON;
great grandchildren, Clare and Emma Pawsy; a sister-in-law, Ruth Thorburn, McAdam;
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by the love of his life, Reta
Mae (Anderson) Estey in 1997 and beloved son, Grenville Estey in 1953.
Visiting hours will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, 155 Saunders
Road, McAdam on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held
at the church on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ellen Beairsto
officiating. Interment in Rockland Cemetery. A reception will follow at
the church.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Arthur, the family has
suggested the St. Paul’s United Church, McAdam or the Alzheimer Society.

of the late Robert William and Annie Bell (Grant) Annis of Cantebury,

Survived by one son, Darrell and his wife, Clara Estey, of Fredericton,
N.B.; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Ester
McNeeley, of Toronto, ON.; one niece and three nephews.
